Health Personnel Shortage Incentive Grant

The Health Personnel Shortage Incentive Grant (HPSIG) is funded by a percentage of physicians' fees collected annually by the Maryland Board of Physicians (Annotated Code of Maryland, Education Article §18-803).  These funds are now ready for distribution to postsecondary institutions to enhance or expand approved academic programs in health occupations experiencing personnel shortages in Maryland.
