Educational Technology Program Description |
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Technology comprises a flexible, project-based curriculum that allows students to tailor their course of study as they make choices about how to apply new skills to their own work environments. The variety of choices that form the core of the educational technology program, combined with an intensely practical, hands-on method of study, ensure that their unique professional needs are met. While personal and professional enrichment is a primary goal of the educational technology program, Loyola places equal emphasis on how to best serve local schools and school systems. By offering a comprehensive course of study that blends practical applications with ethical, philosophical, and theoretical perspectives, Loyola is growing the ranks of qualified technology leaders to support schools in and around Maryland. Graduates will gain knowledge and expertise in all areas designed to support the technological infrastructure of schools. Whether planning for technology, implementing technology in the curriculum, or administering a technology program, graduates will learn skills and information that are crucial to the future health and growth of technology in education. |
