Private career schools that are
approved to operate in Maryland must seek and obtain prior MHEC approval
before
- Offering a new program,
- Modifying an approved program,
- Changing locations or adding a separate classroom,
- Changing ownership, or
- Operating an "other business" on the premises of the school.

Modifying an
Approved Program
Utilize the Modification Application to request changes including, but not limited to, tuition/fees/costs; maximum student enrollment; and schedules.
