Data Analytics Program Description
The proposed program is a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Data Analytics. The program is 15 credits in length and consists of 5 courses. The program will be offered in both a traditional face-to- face format and a 100% online format. The program is designed to allow existing professionals, across a range of industries to acquire skills necessary to collect, analyze, and use data within their work environment to drive decision-making processes. The program will focus on allowing professionals to develop a deeper understanding of the value of data-driven decisions, develop the vocabulary and <br>skills to interact with data scientists, and to seek operational improvements in their own organization. Individuals will learn to utilize data already available within their industry, to interpret reports, and to communicate effectively about data insights. The program will take a generalist approach, focusing on a set of basic data analysis skills that will be applicable across industries.
