A model four-year urban residential liberal arts institution, Coppin State University offers programs in professional and pre-professional areas through its School of Arts & Sciences, School of Education, School of Graduate Studies, Helene Fuld School of Nursing, and School of Professional Studies. Program areas include biology, chemistry, mathematics and computer science, criminal justice and law enforcement, early childhood, elementary, special education, English, general science, global studies, history, interdisciplinary studies, management science and economics, nursing, applied psychology and rehabilitation services, social science, social work, sport management, and urban arts. Academic programs at Coppin are supported by wireless computer access and state-of-the-art facilities including two residence halls, Honors College housing with a research center, multiple computer labs and electronic classrooms, a university center, an expanded library, and a new dining and meeting facility.
