Maryland Early Graduation Scholarship

The Maryland Early Graduation Scholarship Program was established by Governor Larry Hogan by Executive Order on January 27, 2016. The program provided up to $6,000 in scholarship funding to public schools students who completed all of their graduation requirements and graduated early from high school.

Governor Hogan appropriated $3 million for this program which would provide a significant investment in the educational futures of college bound students and provide significant cost savings to their parents.

Unfortunately, during the 2016 Legislative Session, the Maryland General Assembly removed the funding from this innovative program and redistributed the funds.

Although there is no funding appropriated for this program we encourage you to visit the following link http://mhec.maryland.gov/preparing/Pages/FinancialAid/descriptions.aspx for a complete listing of all other state grant/scholarship programs that are available.
