A tuition waiver from the State of Maryland allows for a portion of a student's tuition not to be paid. While the waiver is applied before any additional aid, the student is responsible for payment of the remaining tuition not covered by the waiver.

Waivers are issued only for the period in which a student is currently enrolled; therefore, applications must be submitted no later than Match 1st each year. Satisfactory Academic Progress must be met in order to maintain eligibility for most waivers.
