Master of Religious Education and Master of Divinity Program Description
Master of Religious Education (M.R.E): The Master of Religious Education program is a two-year professional program that provides students with the skills, knowledge and methods necessary for effective education and ministry. The program offers two concentrations: Religious Education and Interfaith Peacebuilding. The program is 50 credit hours. <br>Master of Divinity: A three year program designed for students who are preparing for church leadership or for specialized ministry, such as youth, campus ministry, interfaith ministry, pastoral care and social justice ministries. In addition to gaining an understanding of the essence of Christian faith and practice from a Biblical, historical and theological perspective, Divinity students gain competencies in the tasks of ministry, including preaching, evangelism, pastoral counseling, public relations, management of church resources and leadership. The program is 80 credit hours. <br>
