Area of Concentration (A.o.C.) in Sport Management Program Description
Frostburg State University is proposing a substantial modification of a currently existing program, the Master of Science in Recreation, Parks, and Sport Management. This substantial modification of the existing program will consist of a reorganization of the existing program curriculum to include two concentrations: 1) Recreation and Parks Management and 2) Sport Management. <br> <br>This redesign will be built upon the current curriculum to assure that FSU’s program continues to meet the needs of Recreation and Park professionals, but will add a Sport Management component to provide a more up-to-date curriculum to meet the needs of professionals who wish to pursue Sport Management opportunities. Coursework includes 9 credits in core courses, 15 that are concentration specific, and 6 credits of a capstone experience. FSU will continue to offer this program fully online, with courses seven weeks in length. <br>
