Area of Concentration (A.o.C) in Immersive Storytelling and Emerging Technologies Program Description |
The new concentration is designed to accelerate aspiring creators' understanding of dominant emerging technologies including virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence. This new concentration builds on the strength of the current MA in Film & Media program, which was launched in 2015 and grounds students in the business of film and media, and then allows them to concentrate in an area of interest. Students who complete the Immersive Storytelling and Emerging Technologies concentration will be prepared to fill key positions such as: Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (VR) Developer, VR operator, Senior Gaming and VR Engineers, VR Director, and Experience Designer, just to name a few.

|
