The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Safety provides the student <br>with the necessary knowledge and training to become a Construction Safety professional in the diverse field of occupational health and safety. The B.S. in Construction Safety prepares students for wide range of safety careers in construction-related fields. The Construction Safety program develops the leadership and communications skills required to work in management positions in construction and government safety organizations. The degree provides a firm foundation in construction, safety, risk management, and management skills. Construction Safety majors learn management principles that keep construction worksites running safely and smoothly. They study everything from hiring employees to meeting government safety regulations to making sure day-to-day work activities are safe. Graduates of the program will have the knowledge and skills necessary to be employed as a safety manager or specialist by construction companies, state agencies, governmental agencies, and corporate employers. <br> |
