Out-of-State Renewal Proposal Program Description |
Georgetown University has submitted a renewal application to continue to operate in Maryland, <br>at its previously approved sites. The University seeks continued authorization to conduct clinical <br>assessments for its Master of Science in Nursing program at the University of Maryland School <br>of Nursing located at 655 W. Lombard St., in Baltimore, with two new online programs with in- <br>person skills assessments: Graduate Certificate in Nursing- Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse <br>Practitioner, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice- Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse <br>Practitioner. The University has also requested approval to host the one-week residency required <br>in the Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML) for D.C. Public Schools Leaders, to be held at <br>the William F. Bolger Center, 9600 Newbridge Dr., Potomac, MD 20854. <br>Georgetown University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and <br>is based out of Washington, D.C. Georgetown University is a private non-profit institution and <br>is registered in Maryland as a foreign corporation. The University is currently operating under <br>approval for experiential learning placements required in its online M.S.N. program (with <br>concentrations), and residency-based EML through August 31, 2019. <br>Previously approved programs: <br>University of Maryland School of Nursing, 655 W.
