TI is also possible for students to complete both tracks. Fabrication techniques and the ability to fabricate assemblies from construction drawings is emphasized in both certificate tracks. The programs are aligned with the American Welding Society AWS) standards for entry level and advanced welder certifications.

The accelerated training is offered in a cohort-style program that can be completed in one year.
