College Teaching and Learning Science Program Description
The PMC in College Teaching and Learning Science will prepare graduates to teach in a community college or four-year college setting. The program is based in learning science, which has strong underpinnings of psychological theory and research. There is growing evidence that active and innovative approaches to learning are necessary to reach, retain, and successfully educate college learners. This certificate program will provide current and future educators with empirically based knowledge, skills, and strategies to address successful learning at the college level. The fully online program is comprised of five courses and will utilize contemporary e-learning technologies.
