Out-of-State Renewal Application Program Description
Georgetown University has submitted a renewal application to continue to operate in Maryland with a request for extended approval. The University seeks continued authorization to conduct in-person skills assessments for three online nursing programs at its previously approved site at University of Maryland School of Nursing, 655 W. Lombard St., Baltimore, MD 21201. <br> <br>Georgetown University, a non-profit institution located in Washington, D.C., is registered as a foreign corporation in Maryland and is currently in good standing. Georgetown is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and holds specialized accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The University is currently operating under approval for experiential learning placements required in its online nursing programs listed below, and with this renewal requests extended approval through August 31, 2025. <br> <br>The University has submitted notification that it will not seek renewal of the previously approved Executive Master’s in Leadership - D.C. Schools. The institution hosted the one-week residency required in the Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML) for D.C. Public Schools Leaders at the William F. Bolger Center, 9600 Newbridge Dr., Potomac, MD 20854. This was a closed site approval. <br> <br>Previously approved programs: <br> <br>University of Maryland School of Nursing, 655 W.
