Substantial Modification New Area of Concentration (A.o.C.) in Application Development Program Description
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Information Technology has been offered at the University of Baltimore (UB) since 1999. The University of Baltimore is proposing a substantial modification to the Bachelor of Science in Applied Information Technology (AIT) to add an Area of Concentration (AoC) in Application Development. The new AoC will replace the current Application Development and Programming track and convert to a 24-credit area of concentration that will be renamed Application Development. The new name is more recognizable in the marketplace. The program believes as an area of concentration, the students will have more depth in an area and also a credential that is better recognized.
