Gender and Health Program Description
The Departments of International Health and Population, Family and Reproductive Health, and Health, Behavior, and Society of the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) proposes to offer a post-baccalaureate certificate program in Gender and Health. The certificate program is intended for current full-time and part-time masters and doctoral students at the JHSPH planning to work in the field of international health as gender specialists, and is also appropriate for public health professionals working, or planning to work, in gender and health who seek to develop their skills in this area. This certificate program must be completed onsite in Baltimore, Maryland. Students may complete the certificate program over a minimum of four 8-week terms (or 1 year) to a maximum of 3 years.
