Computer Service Technology Program Description
The modified Lower Division Certificate (L.D.C.) in Computer Service Technology will prepares students for computer support careers. It also prepares students for the CompTIA A+ computer support certification, the CompTIA Network+ certification, and <br>the CompTIA Security+ certification. This program prepares students for careers in computer and technical support such as computer repair, desktop support, networking, and cloud computing. Students gain hands-on experience repairing computers, troubleshooting operating system issues as well as learn help desk procedures. Coursework in this certificate may be applied towards the Information Technology A.A.S. degree. This certificate also prepares students for the following CompTIA certifications: A+, Network+, Security+ and Cloud+.
