| Early Childhood Education Program Description |
| McDaniel College is proposing the development of a new undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. This program, which is grounded in the liberal arts with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, will prepare teacher candidates for PK-3 teaching positions in public and private schools. Currently, McDaniel College offers an elementary education major that leads to teacher licensure for grades 1-6. This new early childhood program will provide an additional pathway for prospective and current McDaniel students and enhance the opportunities for transfer students from Carroll <br>Community to obtain a bachelor’s degree and seek teacher for ages preK-3. |
