Management of Information Systems Transfer Program Description
The proposed degree program is under AACC’s Department of Computer Information Systems and provides a solid foundation in the management of information systems for students who either want to transfer to a four-year university or enter the job market as an entry-level information technology specialist. Management Information Systems is acritical part of the strategic decision- making process in virtually all of today&#39;s publicand private organizations. The MIS program emphasizes management techniques and methodologies used to ensure the successful implementation and on‐going operations of information technology capabilities in business. Students will gain the knowledge and skills to prepare them for a range of occupations including computer systems <br>administrator, IT manager, information security analyst, etc.
