Fine Arts to include an AoC in Graphic Design Program Description
The new concentration in Graphic Design will be a 42-credit concentration that will be comprised of both new and existing courses in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. This academic concentration is designed to graduate graphic design students through a foundation in the traditional fine arts (areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and art history) while providing them with more focused graphic design training in areas such as typography, brand identity, digital publications. The goal of this program is to both train and graduate students who can apply a broad range of skills to in-demand creative careers in the graphic arts and in digital communications.
