Aviation Maintenance Technology Program Description |
The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Aviation Maintenance Technology will include the following learning outcomes. Students who successfully complete the Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology will be able to: <br>a. Diagnose and repair problems with airframe components, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. <br> <br>b. Identify and maintain multiple propulsion systems used in aircrafts. <br> <br>c. Perform maintenance practices and inspection procedures to maintain the airworthiness of aircrafts. <br> <br>d. Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be prepared to test for a mechanic certificate and associated ratings <br> <br>e. Apply Federal Aviation Administration regulations and guidelines related to aircraft maintenance in their work. |
