| Pre-Professional Health Sciences Program Description |
| This versatile degree will allow students that intend to pursue a B.S. in Nursing to have a focused degree path. It will provide opportunity for students to successfully prepare for allied health programs. Additionally, this degree will benefit students interested in exploring various potential careers in Health Sciences fields. <br> <br>The Associate of Science in Pre-Professional Health Sciences will: <br>1. Apply the fundamental principles of biology and/ or chemistry. <br> <br>2. Develop data models by applying the scientific method. <br> <br>3. Discuss ethical issues in the discipline relevant to health sciences. <br> <br>4. Use scientific information effectively. <br> <br>5. Apply computational skills in reasoning, problem-solving, and analysis. <br> <br>6. Demonstrate the ability to use technology appropriate to mathematical and/or scientific problem solving. |
