| Nursing Education Program Description |
| Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to: <br>1. Role Specific Competencies <br>a. Exhibit advanced expertise in nursing education, including curriculum design, <br>instructional innovation, and assessment of learning outcomes. <br>b. Conduct original research that contributes to the body of knowledge in nursing <br>education and informs evidence-based teaching and practice. <br>c. Exemplify ethical, culturally responsive, and socially responsible scholarship <br>that uphold the values of nursing and higher education. <br>d. Generate knowledge that will inform and advance the science of nursing <br>education through interdisciplinary teaching, service, and scholarship. <br>e. Integrate theoretical knowledge and research methodologies to design, <br>conduct, and disseminate original studies. <br>f. Demonstrate leadership in the role of a nurse educator and scholar by <br>promoting culturally responsive, evidence-based innovations in academic and <br>healthcare settings. <br>g. Integrate informatics and emerging technologies into nursing education to <br>enhance teaching, learning, and assessment. |
