Smart Manufacturing Program Description
By the end of this program, students will be able to: <br>- Apply Advanced Manufacturing Technologies: Demonstrate the ability to use <br>robotics, control systems, additive manufacturing, and digital design tools to <br>solve and optimize complex engineering challenges. <br>-Integrate Digital and Physical Systems: Employ digital twins, IoT (Internet of <br>Things) <br>] technologies, and data analytics to connect and optimize manufacturing <br>operations. <br>- Lead Smart Manufacturing Projects: Manage automation initiatives, coordinate <br>interdisciplinary teams, and oversee the implementation of smart manufacturing <br>solutions. <br>- Enhance System Efficiency and Quality: Analyze production data to improve <br>process reliability, throughput, and quality using advanced computational <br>methods. <br>- Promote Secure Operations: Design and manage manufacturing systems that <br>prioritize cybersecurity.
