Hood College

Located on a 50-acre campus in the historic district of Frederick, Md., Hood College is an independent, coeducational liberal arts college. Hood offers bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in 27 major fields of study, 14 master's degrees and five certificate programs. Hood is noted for its success in preparing students for careers and professions while providing a broad and rigorous liberal arts education. Hood offers an honors program for selected students and a career development program, and its proximity to Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Fort Detrick provides numerous research and internship opportunities.
