Are you a recent high school graduate, or do you know someone who is? If so, the Maryland Higher Education Commission has an amazing opportunity to share with you!
The
Maryland Department of Service and Civic Innovation (DSCI) is seeking enthusiastic recent high school graduates to join its
Maryland Corps/Service Year Option Program, which begins September 11, 2024.
What is the Maryland Corps/Service Year Option Program?
The program is not just about serving your community, it's about your personal growth and career exploration. You can earn a living wage, gain new skills, and discover where your talents and purpose intersect with your fellow Marylanders. Classes of 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021 are eligible to apply.
What Are the Benefits of Participating?-
Engage in a full-time service opportunity for at least nine months

Gain on-the-job training, mentoring, and professional development
-
Earn at least
$15/hour
-
Receive a
$6,000 Completion Award at the end of the program

Get matched with a host site employer in your field of interest
-
Have the opportunity to enroll in a federally recognized, registered apprenticeship pathway
