The Maryland State Approving Agency (or SAA) is an approving authority for the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs with the Mission of:

The Student Loan Debt Relief Tax Credit Program offers a tax credit to Maryland taxpayers who have at least $20,000 in undergraduate and/or graduate student loan debt, and at lease $5,000 in outstanding student loan debt when applying for the tax credit.

The Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship creates opportunities for students to attend one of Maryland’s public community colleges by providing tuition assistance for any student eligible for in-state tuition.  AUDIO-7406.m4a

The Maryland Higher Education has 26 scholarship and grants that help provide financial assistance to Maryland students attending a Maryland college or university.  AUDIO-1884.m4a​

The Nurse Support Program II (NSP II) goal is to increase the number of nurses in Maryland, while focusing on expanding the capacity to educate nurses through increasing faculty and strengthening nursing education programs at Maryland institutions. AUDIO-2850.m4a
