Office of Information Technology

MHEC's Office of Information Technology is responsible for managing annual data collection activities which consists of over 12 aggregate surveys and 12 major data systems including but not limited to enrollment, degree, financial aid, student registration, teacher education, and employee data. The unit engages with public, independent, and private institutional segments as data collection partners. The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) is an enterprise agency and the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) manages its technical needs.​
